The Beast

I have watched two episodes of The Beast this week.  

It is developing nicely.     I like the way that it is not unconnected episodes but a puzzle which is being unravelled before us.  We guess, we are surprised and we are drawn in.  

Patrick Swayze is the tightly coiled spring at the centre.  The gravitas and skill he brings to this has led to well deserved comparisons with the greats of the screen: Clint Eastwood and Paul Newman.  

 I would love to see him in a theatre  because I know he would hold the audience in the palm of his hand and we would feel ALL human emotions.

North and South

I am reminded today by Coal Miner’s Granddaughter www.coalminersgd.blogspot.com   of  the most tender and hot love scenes on TV of all time between Patrick Swayze and  Lesley-Anne Down in North and South.   North and South is playing on continous loop it seems in UK  at the moment and I tune in to enjoy this miniseries which I can watch over and over again. 

 Anyone who knows me knows that I am one of Patrick’s biggest fans and Roadhouse and Steel Dawn where he combines balletic movement  with martial arts in the fight scenes are my favourites.

I pray Patrick wins this fight , his greatest  fight,  against cancer.
